To love is to suffer
To love is to care
To love is to suffer
But to not dare
Cause love is a feeling
That will make you dream
But sometimes it's hurting
So that you could scream
When loving,one's happy
One smiles,one laughs
Sometimes love is sappy
You cry your heart out
Sometimes just by seeing,
Your love from afar
It makes all your being
Light up like a star
When loving,a smile
Is all that you need
And just for awhile
Your heart will not bleed
When loving,a look
A hug or a kiss
That's all that it took
And now you are missed
To love is to suffer
To love is to cry
To love is to suffer
To love is to die.
To love is to care
To love is to suffer
But to not dare
Cause love is a feeling
That will make you dream
But sometimes it's hurting
So that you could scream
When loving,one's happy
One smiles,one laughs
Sometimes love is sappy
You cry your heart out
Sometimes just by seeing,
Your love from afar
It makes all your being
Light up like a star
When loving,a smile
Is all that you need
And just for awhile
Your heart will not bleed
When loving,a look
A hug or a kiss
That's all that it took
And now you are missed
To love is to suffer
To love is to cry
To love is to suffer
To love is to die.
how is it..to love..

A beautifully composed piece, the attention to para-rhyme is particularly effective here in depicting the hap-hazardous nature of love; it's never a perfect jigsaw, some pieces will simply not fit the puzzle.
You've given me a lot to think about with this piece, but I like that, you've engaged my conscious mind into exploring what I feel when I love(d), but the juxtaposition of emotions, smiling and bleeding (for example), is perfectly true, and it nicely highlights the sporadic, almost spontaneous nature of love...
